This vibrant and imaginative piece pays tribute to one of the tropics’ most iconic creatures, the toucan. Depicted in an abstract and artistic manner, the Tropicalia Clutch features warm, rich colors that bring the bird's playful spirit to life. It's a bold statement piece that captures the beauty and biodiversity of Colombia’s lush rainforests.
Colombia is one of the most bird-rich countries in the world, and toucans are a common sight in its jungles. The Gunadule community often portrays the animals they live alongside in their textile art. This particular design was envisioned by artisans from Alto Caimán, a region bordering the Darién rainforest, and created exclusively for Mola Sasa.
All of our textiles are delicately hand-sewn by a woman artisan from the Indigenous Gunadule community of Colombia. Each piece is a true handmade luxury—one-of-a-kind and only available at Mola Sasa.
Comes with a brown leather crossbody strap or can be worn as a clutch.
